Payment Methods

Payment Methods at CLOVERIX LLC – Secure, Flexible, and Hassle-Free

At CLOVERIX LLC, we believe that buying a greeting card should be a joyful experience from start to finish — including the checkout process. That’s why we have partnered with Stripe, a global leader in online payment processing, to offer you a wide range of secure, convenient, and fast payment options. Whether you prefer traditional credit cards, modern digital wallets, or buy-now-pay-later services, we have you covered.

This page provides complete transparency about how we handle payments, what methods we accept, how security works, and what to do if you encounter any issues.

Our Payment Processor: Stripe – The Gold Standard

All transactions on cloverix.shop are processed exclusively through Stripe, a company trusted by millions of businesses worldwide, including Amazon, Shopify, Lyft, and Zoom. Stripe is a certified Level 1 PCI Service Provider — the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.

Why Stripe?

  • Bank-grade security – Stripe encrypts every transaction using TLS (Transport Layer Security) and AES-256, the same encryption standard used by the U.S. government.

  • Fraud prevention – Stripe’s machine learning algorithms analyze millions of data points in real time to block fraudulent transactions before they happen.

  • Global compliance – Stripe is fully compliant with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) Level 1, as well as with PSD2 in Europe and other regional regulations.

  • Seamless experience – Customers never leave our website during checkout, and we support 3D Secure 2 for an extra layer of authentication without friction.

When you enter your payment details on cloverix.shop, your information goes directly to Stripe’s secure servers. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details. This significantly reduces the risk of data breaches.

Payment Methods We Accept

1. Credit & Debit Cards

We accept all major credit and debit cards issued by banks worldwide. You do not need a PayPal account or any special software — just your card number, expiration date, and CVV.

Accepted card networks:

  • Visa (credit, debit, prepaid)

  • Mastercard (credit, debit, prepaid, Maestro)

  • American Express (AMEX)

  • Discover

  • Diners Club

  • JCB

  • UnionPay (international)

Important notes:

  • Prepaid cards are accepted as long as they have sufficient funds to cover the total purchase amount (including taxes and shipping).

  • Some international cards may require 3D Secure authentication. If your bank supports this, you will be prompted to enter a one-time code sent to your phone or email.

  • We do not charge any additional fees for using a credit card. However, your issuing bank may charge foreign transaction fees if you are paying from outside the United States. Please check with your bank.

2. Apple Pay

If you are shopping on an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac with Touch ID or Face ID), you can check out instantly with Apple Pay. Your card details are stored securely in your Apple Wallet, and you authenticate the payment with your fingerprint or face scan.

Benefits of Apple Pay:

  • No need to manually type your card information

  • Faster checkout — usually under 10 seconds

  • Biometric authentication adds an extra layer of security

  • Your actual card number is never shared with merchants (including CLOVERIX)

How to use Apple Pay on cloverix.shop:

  1. Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.

  2. When you reach the payment section, select the Apple Pay button.

  3. Confirm your shipping address and billing information.

  4. Double-click the side button (iPhone/iPad) or use Touch ID (Mac) to authenticate.

  5. Your order is placed immediately.

Apple Pay is available for both one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions (if applicable).

3. Google Pay

Android and Chrome users can enjoy the same frictionless experience with Google Pay. Like Apple Pay, Google Pay tokenizes your card information so that your actual account numbers are never transmitted.

Benefits of Google Pay:

  • Works on any Android device, Chromebook, or any desktop browser where you are signed into your Google account

  • Uses your device’s screen lock (PIN, pattern, or biometrics) for authentication

  • Stores loyalty cards and gift cards as well

  • No transaction fees

How to use Google Pay:

  1. At checkout, select Google Pay as your payment method.

  2. A pop-up window will appear showing your saved cards.

  3. Select the card you wish to use.

  4. Confirm your billing and shipping address.

  5. Authenticate using your device’s screen lock.

  6. Complete the purchase.

4. Additional Digital Wallets (via Stripe)

Stripe also supports a growing number of regional and specialized digital wallets. Depending on your location, you may see options such as:

  • Cash App Pay (popular in the U.S.)

  • Alipay – for customers in China

  • WeChat Pay – for customers in China

  • Bancontact – for customers in Belgium

  • iDEAL – for customers in the Netherlands

  • Giropay – for customers in Germany

  • Klarna (Buy Now, Pay Later) – see section below

If you do not see a specific wallet at checkout, it may not be available for your country or for the specific product you are purchasing.

5. Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) with Klarna

For larger orders (typically over $50), we offer the option to split your payment into 4 interest-free installments through Klarna. Klarna is a Stripe partner and a trusted BNPL provider used by over 85 million shoppers worldwide.

How Klarna works:

  • Select Klarna at checkout.

  • Choose the “Pay in 4” option (if eligible).

  • Pay the first installment immediately (25% of the total).

  • The remaining 3 installments are automatically charged to your saved card every 2 weeks.

  • No interest and no fees if you pay on time.

Eligibility: Klarna performs a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score. Approval is based on factors such as your order amount, payment history with Klarna, and overall risk profile.

Note: Klarna is currently available for U.S. and select European customers only. If you are in another region, Klarna may not appear at checkout.

Security Measures: How We Protect You

Your financial security is non-negotiable at CLOVERIX. Beyond Stripe’s industry-leading protection, we have implemented additional safeguards.

SSL/TLS Encryption

Our entire website is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption, the same technology used by banks and military institutions. You can verify this by looking for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar and “https://” before our domain name. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers — including your name, address, and payment information — is encrypted and cannot be intercepted by third parties.

PCI DSS Compliance

As a merchant, CLOVERIX is required to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We are certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 merchant, which means we undergo annual audits and continuous monitoring to ensure we meet the strictest security requirements. We do not store any cardholder data on our own servers.

3D Secure 2

For added protection against unauthorized use, Stripe supports 3D Secure 2 (3DS2). When you make a purchase, your bank may challenge you to verify your identity through:

  • A one-time passcode sent via SMS or email

  • Biometric verification (fingerprint or face scan) on your banking app

  • A push notification to your mobile device

3DS2 is designed to be frictionless — in most cases, you won’t even notice it. Only high-risk transactions (such as unusually large orders or purchases from a new device) trigger a challenge.

Fraud Detection & Prevention

Stripe’s Radar tool uses machine learning to analyze thousands of signals about each transaction, including:

  • The IP address location versus the billing address

  • The device fingerprint (is this a known device?)

  • The velocity of orders (is the same card being used repeatedly in a short time?)

  • The card’s history (has it been reported as stolen?)

Suspicious transactions are automatically declined, and we are notified. In rare cases, we may reach out to you to confirm that you authorized the purchase. This might delay your order by a few hours, but it protects you from fraud.

Tokenization

When you save a card for future purchases (if you create an account with us), Stripe replaces your actual card number with a unique digital token. This token is useless to anyone who might intercept it — it can only be used on our specific website with Stripe’s decryption keys. Even if a hacker breached our database, they would only find tokens, not real card numbers.

Billing & Invoicing

What Will Appear on Your Statement?

When you make a purchase on cloverix.shop, your bank or credit card statement will show a charge from:

CLOVERIX LLC or sometimes STRIPE*CLOVERIX

If you see a different merchant name, please contact us immediately at lienphuong84@gmail.com — it could be a sign of fraud (though extremely unlikely with Stripe).

Receipts & Invoices

Immediately after a successful payment, Stripe will send a receipt to the email address you provided during checkout. This receipt includes:

  • Order number

  • Date and time of purchase

  • Itemized list of products purchased

  • Subtotal, tax, shipping, and total amount paid

  • Last 4 digits of the card used

  • Billing and shipping addresses

You can also access your order history and download invoices by logging into your account on cloverix.shop (if you created one). If you checked out as a guest, please retain your order confirmation email as your proof of purchase.

For business customers: If you need a VAT invoice or a corporate purchase order, please email lienphuong84@gmail.com with your order number and tax identification number. We will generate a custom invoice within 2 business days.

Currency & Conversion

All prices on cloverix.shop are listed in United States Dollars (USD) . If you are shopping from outside the United States, your bank or card issuer will convert the USD amount into your local currency at the exchange rate they use on the day of the transaction. CLOVERIX does not control or profit from exchange rates. You may see a separate “foreign transaction fee” on your statement if your bank charges one.

To avoid surprises, we recommend using a credit card that offers zero foreign transaction fees (many travel rewards cards do).

Troubleshooting Payment Issues

Sometimes, a payment may be declined even though you have sufficient funds. Here are the most common reasons and how to resolve them.

My card was declined. What do I do?

First, do not panic. A decline is rarely a problem with your account. Possible causes:

Issue Solution
Incorrect card details Double-check the card number, expiration date, and CVV. Re-enter carefully.
Insufficient funds Check your available balance or credit limit.
Card expired Use a different card or update your card’s expiration date with your bank.
Bank’s fraud block Your bank may see an unfamiliar online purchase and temporarily block it. Call the number on the back of your card to authorize the transaction.
Daily limit exceeded Some cards have daily spending limits. Try again tomorrow or use a different card.
Address verification failure Your billing address must exactly match what your bank has on file. Even a small difference (e.g., “St.” vs “Street”) can cause a decline.
3D Secure failure If you failed the 3DS challenge (e.g., entered the wrong code), wait 30 minutes and try again.

If you have tried all of the above and still cannot pay, please email us at lienphuong84@gmail.com with a screenshot of the error message (if any). We may be able to send you a manual invoice through Stripe.

Why was my Apple Pay/Google Pay transaction declined?

Digital wallet declines usually stem from:

  • Your device’s biometric authentication failing (e.g., wet or dirty fingerprint sensor). Clean the sensor and try again.

  • The card in your wallet has expired. Update the card in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

  • Your device is not connected to the internet. Connect to Wi-Fi or cellular data.

  • The merchant (us) does not support the specific card network in wallet mode. Try entering the card manually.

I was charged multiple times. What happened?

Stripe is designed to prevent duplicate charges, but glitches can occur. First, wait 10 minutes and refresh your account page or email inbox. Often, one of the charges will drop off automatically (it was an authorization hold, not a real charge). If after 1 hour you still see multiple completed charges, email lienphuong84@gmail.com with your order number and a screenshot of your bank statement showing the duplicates. We will void the extra charges immediately. Depending on your bank, it may take 3–7 business days for the refund to appear.

I received an error message: “Your payment could not be processed at this time.”

This generic error usually indicates a temporary issue with Stripe’s servers or your internet connection. Please:

  1. Wait 5 minutes and try again.

  2. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.

  3. Try a different browser or device.

  4. If the problem persists, contact us.

Refunds & Chargebacks

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Please see our Refund and Return Policy for detailed instructions. In summary:

  • You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.

  • Contact us at lienphuong84@gmail.com with your order number and reason.

  • Once we approve the return, we will issue a refund to your Stripe account.

  • Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

What is a chargeback? Should I file one?

A chargeback is when you ask your credit card issuer to reverse a charge without going through the merchant first. While chargebacks are a consumer right, we strongly encourage you to contact us first before filing a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved in hours through our customer service, whereas chargebacks take weeks and incur fees for both parties.

If you file an unwarranted chargeback (e.g., you received the product but simply changed your mind), we reserve the right to dispute it and provide evidence to your bank. We may also ban your account and shipping address from future purchases.

Legitimate reasons for a chargeback include:

  • You never received the product (and we cannot provide tracking showing delivery).

  • The product was significantly different from what was described (and we refused a refund).

  • Your card was used fraudulently without your permission.

For all other issues, please email us first.

Payment FAQs

Is it safe to enter my credit card information on cloverix.shop?

Yes. Our website uses 256-bit SSL encryption, and all payment data goes directly to Stripe’s Level 1 PCI DSS compliant servers. We never see or store your full card number.

Do you accept PayPal?

At this time, we do not accept PayPal directly. However, you can use your PayPal debit or credit card (issued by Mastercard) as a regular card on our site.

Can I pay with cash, check, or money order?

No. For security and efficiency, we only accept electronic payments through Stripe. We do not accept cash, personal checks, money orders, or bank transfers.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax is automatically calculated and added at checkout based on the shipping address. We collect sales tax in states where we have a physical presence or economic nexus (currently Florida). If your state does not require sales tax for online purchases, you will not be charged.

Can I use multiple payment methods for one order?

No. Stripe does not support split payments across multiple cards or wallets in a single transaction. If you need to combine funds, consider using a prepaid card or gift card.

What happens if my payment is declined after I’ve already placed an order?

Your order will not be confirmed until the payment succeeds. If your payment is declined at checkout, you will see an error message, and your cart will remain active. No funds have been taken from your account. Please try another payment method or contact your bank.
